Hyaluronic Acid: A powerful humectant that deeply hydrates the skin, reduces trans-epidermal water loss, and supports the skin’s extracellular matrix for enhanced hydration and elasticity.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): Supports barrier function, improves moisture retention, enhances protein and ceramide synthesis, and provides anti-inflammatory benefits for acne, rosacea, and sensitised skin. It also helps brighten skin tone and reduce the visible signs of ageing.

Vitamin B5 (Panthenol): Deeply hydrates and soothes the skin, converting to Pantothenic Acid to boost essential fatty acid synthesis, helping to reinforce the skin barrier and improve resilience.

SKIN SCIENCE 

The Bossa Professional Hyaluronic Acid Gel optimises extracellular matrix hydration by delivering essential nutrients to the skin’s structure. Hyaluronic Acid, a key component of the skin's natural matrix, plays a role in nutrient delivery to fibroblasts and promotes intercellular communication. In cases of dehydration and compromised barrier function, matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) can degrade collagen and elastin, leading to a loss of skin elasticity and integrity, which contributes to ageing.

The high concentration of hyaluronic acid in this gel helps protect and nourish the extracellular matrix, retaining moisture within the epidermis and reducing TEWL, especially in sensitive skin. The formulation also includes professional doses of B-group vitamins, such as Niacinamide and Panthenol, which stabilise the skin barrier, reduce TEWL, and improve moisture content.

Niacinamide enhances keratin and ceramide production, speeds up keratinocyte differentiation, and rehydrates ageing skin while inhibiting damage from UV exposure. Both vitamins provide anti-inflammatory benefits, making them effective for treating acne and rosacea, and help improve the skin’s resilience.

How to Use

After Professional Exfoliation: Following treatments such as peels, dermaplaning, or microdermabrasion, apply the Bossa Hyaluronic Acid Gel as a mask for a hydrating boost:

• Application: Generously apply the gel mask to the face, neck, and décolleté. PRO TIP: For enhanced hydration, mist the skin with Beauty Water before application.

• Setting Time: Allow the gel to work its magic for 10-15 minutes. It is also compatible with LED treatments, enhancing its effectiveness.

• Removal: Gently remove the mask using a warm, damp towel for a soothing finish. Alternatively, it can be rinsed off with warm water, depending on the client’s skin sensitivity and the treatment performed. The gel can also be left on, followed by a moisturiser and SPF.

Microneedling: Dispense 2-5 pumps of Hyaluronic Acid Gel into a sterile dressing pack. Apply a thin, even layer of the gel to the targeted area to create a smooth, hydrating slip. Follow your microneedling protocol as directed by the manufacturer of your device for optimal results.

HydraGloss Lips Treatment: After exfoliating the lips, apply 1-2 pumps of Hyaluronic Acid Gel directly onto the lips. Follow with microneedling using either a nano cartridge or a 36-needle cartridge with a 0.25-0.5mm depth to enhance absorption and hydration. The gel can be left on the lips or gently removed with gauze soaked in saline solution. This treatment deeply hydrates and revitalizes the lips, leaving them plump, smooth, and glossy.

Post-Laser Treatment: This gel mask is also ideal for use after laser treatments, serving as a cooling and restorative mask.

Ultrasound Infusion Technique
After manually massaging the gel into the skin, use an ultrasound device or sonophoresis to further enhance the infusion of active ingredients throughout the epidermis, as well as stimulate circulation to support collagen production in the dermis.
